Our M-Pesa Paybill integration makes this possible. How this works is every tenant is assigned a unique code. When paying via your paybill business number the tenant uses this tenant code as the account number. Our system gets notified by the M-Pesa system of the transaction in teal-time. The software then automatically applies the payment to the tenant’s account, settling the available invoices by issuing a receipt then it finally sends a notification to the tenant via SMS and a copy of the receipt to the tenant’s email address as an attachment. This is the customer-to-business (C2B) mode of e-Payments.
With our business-to-customer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) mode of e-Payment, we register a bulk paybill that you credit with funds. This paybill is linked to the system such that when you prepare a remittance to landlord or a tenant refund payment voucher you can complete the transaction straight from the system. We have successfully integrated Electronic Signature Devices (ESD) such as Signet and Fasy Punto. These devices have been approved by KRA. The gadget is connected on your network on a public-facing endpoint. Whenever a receipt or invoice is issued, zurilease connects to the ESD machine to capture the transaction details and generate a signature. The signature is appended to the document ready for printing. This is known as Type B integration.
